(S/M#K63-3) Shanghai. Specimen overprints, serial numbers and punch cancels. This scarce issuer is one of the more appealing Foreign Bank design produced and shows with a vivid coastal city scene at center and ornate design styling. This Shanghai branch 10 Dollar note is the first we have handled in any form, and the last we offered was a blue color note from the Swatow branch, which realized $3,465 as lot 32212 in our April 2014 Hong Kong sale.
