(S/M#O5-1) Shanghai. A rare design that is the second we have handled for the catalog number. The entire issuer is highly scarce with any catalog number considered. This example retains very appealing grade with only a purple ink stamp at face and back. Face in English and back in Cyrillic. Printed signatures with additional hand signature at lower right. Currently one of only two PMG has graded for the catalog number with both in Very Fine 25 grades. We sold the other PMG graded note, a net graded piece due to a split, in our April 2014 Hong Kong sale which brought $7,170 as lot 32239. This wholesome offering should best that realization. PMG Very Fine 25.
