A Set of Chiribaya Vessels. A matched set of fine Chiribaya polychrome vessels from the Moquehua area of southern Peru, ca. 800 - 1500 AD. The offering dish is 4-3/8" in diameter and is decorated with the traditional designs characteristic of the type, with a small zoomorphic rim adorno peering into the interior. The matching cup is 2-1/4" high and has a similar adorno and designs. In excellent condition with good mineral deposits. Ex Halderman collection.
