Maya Cylinder. A slender Maya cylinder from the Zeaculeu area in the Western Highlands of Guatemala, ca. 400 – 800 AD. It is 9" high, 3-1/2" in diameter and is decorated with bands of negative resist designs, executed in black over white, as well as directly on the orange slip.
