Mesopotamian Gold Mantle Ornaments. A set of Mesopotamian or Amlash gold mantle ornaments, ca. 6th – 7th century BC. The group consists of a nicely matched pair that is ¾" in diameter and has fine repoussé work, the somewhat flattened one is beautifully detailed and is 7/8" in diameter. Displayed in Riker mount.
