Extremely fine.
Mahmoud Ali Pasha, Governor [Vali] of Misir (elected 1805), Sudan (which he conquered 1822-1823) Filistin, Suriye, Hicaz, Mora, Tasoz and Girit. Later he occupied Syria 1831-1840. He is buried in the Alabaster Mosque in the Citadel in Cairo, the same Citadel where he massacred the Mamluks in 1811.
