St. Helena, British East India Company Coinage Halfpenny 1821 in bronze, reverse inverted, design as the KM#4a Proof issue (Proof Issue is reverse upright) unlisted as a currency piece by Krause, Format FT3, stated to be a mintage of 702,704 pieces with 566,064 pieces melted at the Soho Mint in 1831. EF with traces of lustre and a nick in the reverse field above the date (Ex LCA 137 Lot 971 realised £280 hammer)
