THESSALY, Pelinna. Circa 425-350 BC. Æ Chalkous (14mm, 2.15 g, 12h). Warrior on horseback riding right, holding spear and wearing conical helmet and billowing chlamys / ΠEΛ [IKON] downward from upper right and left, warrior left, holding shield and preparing to hurl spear. BCD Thessaly II 529.1 var. (no spear; otherwise unpublished in the standard references). Good VF, dark green patina.
