CILICIA, Diocaesarea. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ (34mm, 24.03 g, 8h). Laureate head right; c/ms: eagle in oval, thunderbolt in oval / Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia. For coin: SNG Levante 670; SNG France 864; for c/ms: Howgego 337 and 469. Near VF, green patina.

These countermarks, always found together on the coins of Diocaesarea, were certainly applied simultaneously, and represent cult objects of Zeus, the patron god of the city.
