PERSIA, Alexandrine Empire. temp. Stamenes – Seleukos. Satraps of Babylon, circa 328-311 BC. AV Double Daric (18mm, 16.64 g). Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear in right hand, bow in left; ΦI to left / Patterned incuse punch. Nicolet-Pierre 6; Sunrise 158 (this coin). Good VF, lightly toned, minor area of flat strike. Very rare.
