SICILY, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 17.23 g, 5h). Struck circa 413-405 BC. Charioteer, holding kentron in right hand and reins in both, driving fast quadriga left over wheel; above, Nike flying right, crowning charioteer with wreath held in both hands; in exergue, grain ear left / Diademed head of Arethousa left, hair in ampyx and sphendone with zig-zag lower border, wearing double hoop earring and necklace with pendants; ΣY[P]AKOΣI[Ω-N] above, four dolphins around.
