DYNASTS of LYCIA. Kuprilli. Circa 480-440 BC. AR Stater (18.5mm, 8.42 g, 5h). Xanthos mint(?). Forepart of winged bull left; triskeles above / Triskeles; K-O-Π around; all in pelleted square within incuse square. Cf. Mørkholm & Zahle 186–8 (fractions); Falghera –; Reuter –; SNG Copenhagen Supp. –; SNG von Aulock –; CNG 60, lot 835 (same dies); CNG 54, lot 738 (same dies). Superb EF, attractively toned, area of slight roughness at edge on reverse. Very rare.
