ATTICA, Athens. Circa 400/390-353 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 16.87 g, 8h). Head of Athena right, with profile eye, wearing earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left, AΘE to right; all within incuse square. Kroll 15a-b; Svoronos, Monnaies, pl. 19, 13-15 & 17-22; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG München 90; Dewing 1625; Pozzi 1569. EF, toned, some die wear, a couple minor delaminations in field on reverse. Well struck on a broad flan.
