IMP CΛES DOMIT ΛVG GERM • COS XIIII CENS PER P P, laureate head right / S C across field, Domitian, veiled and togate, standing left, sacrificing out of patera in right hand over lighted altar; in background, a shrine of Minerva, showing two columns in front and a third on right side, with round shield in pediment; in the shrine, Minerva, helmeted and draped, standing right. RIC II 637; BMCRE 408; BN 440. Good VF, brown surfaces, minor porosity, a few minor marks. Excellent portrait.
