Head of Alexander the Great facing right, diademed, and with horn of Ammon. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena, helmeted, enthroned left, holding Nike in her outstretched right hand and resting her left elbow on a shield at her side, behind her rests a spear, Φ in inner left field, a bull butting to left in the exergue (Seyrig, "Monnaies Hellénistiques de Byzance et de Calcédoine" in Essays to Robinson, pl. 25, 25 (these dies); Thompson, in Essays to Robinson -; Müller 358). Of fine style, lightly toned over residual lustre, nearly extremely fine. Rare.
