WORLD COINS, MAURITIUS Isle de France et Bonaparte. Silver 10-Livres, 1810. Crowned eagle. Rev. DIX LIVRES within wreath, date below (Dav 37; VG 2290; KM 1). In NGC holder certified "Fine, Details (Surface Hairlines)", typical weak strike on the reverse, toned. Scarce one year type.
This Napoleonic type was struck in Mauritius, by the French, with silver captured from the Dutch. Most of the issue was melted by the British after they captured the island later the same year
