Portraits of Mikhail Romanov on left and Nicholas II at right, radiant Monomakh cap and Nicholas cipher between, Imperial eagle below, all within a wreath broken at the top by the anniversary dates. Marked with the crowned cipher of Nicholas II and date 1913 in dark green on the back. Very rare. Two integral holes, as made, from edge through back for suspension or display stand. In plush-lined, fitted wood case. Impressive, and problem free
During the 1913 celebrations, these medals were presented in the name of the emperor as gifts.
