Hallmarked 56 (14K) on a loop; "ИЛ" and "ЭДУАРДЬ" marks on reverse. With old ribbon. The swords have been crudely added to what was a non-military cross. The primitive and archaic manner in which this addition was accomplished can only lead to the conclusion that this was done in pre-1917 Russia, apparently by the order of the recipient.
