44.0 mm; 38.2 gms. Gr-K-1b; Med-85; Her-75; Betts-473. By A. B. Madero. VERY RARE, our records show only two public appearances at auction for this medal, which includes the previous sale of this specific medal. Armored draped bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Arms of Mexico City in ornamented frame. Struck on a cast planchet. Some areas of weakness in reverse legend and some filing between ten and two o'clock on reverse for unknown reason. A few inconsequential rim dings but nice chocolate patina and a handsome design.
