MEXICO. Mexico City, El Arzobispo. Silver Proclamation Medal, 1760. Charles III (1759-88). VERY FINE.
42.0 mm; 23.43 gms. Gr-K-5; Med-91; Her-81; Betts-479. By F. Cassanova. RARE, with only about a dozen examples known (about half of which are holed). Bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Arms of the Archbishop. Nicely struck on a thin planchet giving high raised rims. A few light tooling marks in obverse field, but wonderful even old toning giving a great deal of eye appeal. VERY FINE.
