45.2 mm; 30.96 gms. Gr-K-41a; Med-98; Her-86; Betts-485. By F. Cassanova. VERY RARE, we are aware of only four examples of this medal. Bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Standing draped figure of Diana with head to left, proclamation medals falling from raised hand and flag on spear and ouroboros in other, mountain in background. The vows ceremony took place April 19th 1761 by Jose Maria de la Canal. Very deep obverse strike while the reverse is shallow. Some minor rim nicks and bumps as well as evidence of old cleaning, now lightly toned. VERY FINE.
