45.3 mm; 39.63 gms. Gr-K-52; Med-108; Her-92; Betts-490. By F. Cassanova. RARE, the fifth example of this medal we are aware of. bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Seven line inscription. Sharply struck on well made planchet with high raised rims. The reverse of the medal actually gives the date of the proclamation ceremonies 19 April 1760. A handsome if simplistic medal with a striking high relief and robust portrait of the king. Lightly cleaned long ago. Sharply struck. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
