20.6 mm; 3.33 gms. Gr-K-34; Med-70; Her-63; Betts-461. Bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Rider right over two mountains. The proclamation festivities for Charles III took place on 25 July 1760, with medals issued in sizes corresponding to that of 1/2, 1, 2 and 4 Reales. Struck with a different obverse die than seen on other examples. Pierced at one o'clock. Toned. VERY FINE.
