One of the more pleasing notes of this highly scarce catalog number we have offered that shows with exceptional blue and red under-prints and sharp detail of the primary design. Hand accomplished signature at the lower right, palm tree left and village at right. Central portrait vignette of King Christian IX. The last we sold that was of similar quality to this note, another problem free for the grade example, was lot 20098 in our August 2012 ANA Auction. That piece, grading PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ, brought an impressive $15,275. The offering here is not far from that example in terms of appeal and should see spirited bidding. PMG Very Fine 25.
