Issued to commemorate the planned invasion of England, an event which never occurred. French confidence was so high that the dies were prepared with the inscription "FRAPPE LONDRES/ EN 1804". Plain edge original. Reflective deep mahogany surfaces. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
