32 mm; 8.5 gms. cf.Gaed-134. Design by Danzig medalist Johann Hohn (d. 1697) famous for medal designs for local and foreign courts. This medal depicts an alter with a book and a burning heart flanked by a shovel and scythe, above in the radiant is some Hebraic script and the legend "LABORA ORA ET."; Reverse: The hand of God lowering a basket from the sky beside a grape vine and ears of corn with the legend "DEUS ADERIT SINE MORA" (God will be with you without delay). A few tiny edge nicks. Nice strike and attractive iridescent toning. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
