KM-129; Basso-43; cf.PNM#6-125; PNM#16-269; Cacho-Type IV CS-052; Lopez-Chavez Yriarte-Type IV group A; Gil-Crown variety 5-3-2-IV (1837). Type VI countermark crowned Y.II. within circle. On an 1827-GoMR Mexico 8 Reales. Scarce early date host coin. Countermark unevenly struck and off center, die crack from 10 o'clock to left arm of "Y" in queen's cipher with two smaller crack's on right arm of "Y" just below crown. Several small scratches on obverse just below countermark. Moderate wear and lightly toned. Countermark EF Details, host coin PCGS VF-35 Secure Holder.
