Approximately 51 pieces in lot. Primarily European, but with a number from the Americas as well. Numerous interesting pieces including an officially countermarked 15 Kreuzer of Schaffenhausen Switzerland, undated but issued in the mid 1600's (KM-56); a "W.J. Waugh" countermark usually found on Australian tokens but on a 1910 Canadian 1/2 Dollar; a "J.R.H." on an 1864 New Brunswick 20 Cents; "S.P.D." on a Mexico 1794 8 Reales; and most notably a Brookes Ironmongers token from Brisbane (KM-Tn25.1). Other familiar stamps include Thomas Spence, Devins and Bolton, Pears Soap as well as many unusual and enigmatic marks too.
