George VI Dollar 1947 Pointed 7 with Dot MS63 NGC, KM37. A choice coin with flash in the fields and evidence of light handling that precludes a finer grade. Struck with worn dies. The last example we sold of this very scarce "Pointed 7 - Dots" variety, also graded MS63 (by ICCS), brought $4,250 hammer in our January 2012 New York auction.
