Republic silver Specimen Pattern 20 Centavos 1898 SP40 PCGS, KM-Pn9 and KMX-M14. Lightly circulated but attractive for the assigned grade with no heavy handling marks. A very rare pattern issue struck by the Gorham Company, with only a handful confirmed examples, many times more elusive than the famous 1897 and 1898 Peso issues. Among the rarest issues in the Cuban series, and eminently desirable despite the handling evidence.
