(Lis) KAROLVS : DЄI | : GRACIA : | FRAnCORV' : RЄX, armored knight on horseback galloping left brandishing a sword / + XP'C * VInCIT * XP'C * RЄGHAT * XPC * IMPЄRAT, cross fleurée in quadrilobe with leaves at angles and trefoils in spandrels. A stunning example of this issue, fully lustrous and sharply detailed. This type is more scarce under Charles V than his predecessor, Jean II, particularly in such an outstanding state of preservation. Simply superb.
