Louis XIV gold 1/2 Louis d'or 1694-W XF40 NGC, Lille mint, KM301.17, Fr-434. A lovely and lustrous yellow-gold example with pleasing original surfaces. Struck over previous type and quite rare as this is currently the only certified 1/2 Louis d'or from the Lille mint by either grading company.
