A Pair of silver Napoleon III 5 Francs Uniface Die Trials by Bouvet 1856, Maz-1485 var. (separate planchets). The obverse is graded SP65 PCGS and the reverse SP62+ PCGS. Both have mottled russet tone, the reverse darkening significantly on its upper half into blues and greens. Both strikes are crisp and exacting on well-prepared planchets. A wonderful opportunity for the advanced pattern collector to obtain a matched pair and keep them together.
