Napoleon III gold 100 Francs 1857-A MS63 NGC, Paris mint, KM786.1, Fr-569. A remarkable example of this immense type with flashy fields that, upon rotation, nicely illuminate the incredibly crisp devices. Aside from a few minor pin scratches which are within the confines of the grade, the surfaces are highly pleasing and without the typically encountered contact marks that are common to the issue. Scarce this nice and a solid representative of the type.
