Silesia. Leopold gold 3 Pfennig 1688 MS62 NGC, KM-PnOP5, type of KM438. An interesting pattern of the billon 3 Pfennig struck in gold. Small, but quite impressive with light tone and a slight wave to the flan. It also appears that the second 8 in the date has been engraved over a 7. A very scarce type struck for presentation purposes, highly interesting as such. Sold with an old sales envelope.
