Edward IV (1st Reign 1461-70) gold Ryal 1467-68 AU Details (Reverse Damage) NGC, London mint, Light Coinage of 1464-70, Crown mm on reverse only, S-1951, North-1549. Edward standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield; Є on banner at stern, rose on hull / Rose in radiant sun over floriate cross, crowns and lions in angles; small trefoils in spandrels. A small V-shaped dig mars the radiate sun but this is still an excellent example of this issue, lustrous on a broad flan, fairly sharp in strike overall with many well-detailed features.
