Elizabeth I 1/2 Crown ND (1601-02) AU50 NGC, S-2583. A better example of this desirable type with the only defects being are a couple of minor scratches on the reverse. The portrait of Elizabeth is surprisingly nice, with an even striking showing little wear. The legend is also very struck-up and the planchet itself is large enough to show essentially all of the pellet outer-border to the legend. A piece that would fit in well with any collection. Sold with old sales envelope.
