Great Britain
Oliver Cromwell Shilling 1658 AU55 PCGS, S-3228. An outstanding example of this issue, beautifully toned in slate gray. Light and even wear touches only the high points while the fields are surprisingly free of distracting marks. With most of this issue destroyed following the restoration of the monarchy in 1660, it is common for pieces from this issue to appear defaced, if at all. Very scarce thus and highly desirable.
