William III 1/2 Crown 1700 MS65 NGC, Royal mint, KM492.2, S-3494, ESC-561. A gorgeous, nearly unimprovable specimen with glowing red, orange and violet patina, an exceedingly bold strike and very few visible marks, even when viewing is aided with a loupe. A remarkable coin and comparable in eye-appeal to the NGC-certified MS66 that we sold in April 2014 for $10,925.
