Great Britain
George III silver "Garter" Pattern Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings 1804 AU58 NGC, ESC-182. A lovely pattern for this emergency issue, with surfaces displaying mottled tone in shades of pewter and olive, with remnants of underlying luster beneath. Sharply-struck over an 8 Reales 1802-Mo with the clear date under "III" on the obverse and the mintmark faint but visible under "NN" in "BRITANNIA" on the reverse. A strong, nearly mint-state specimen with minor wear and major appeal.
