Victoria Shilling 1855 MS66+ PCGS, Royal mint, KM734.1, S-3904. The second finest graded by either NGC or PCGS. Heritage actually sold the sole finer example in our April, 2012 auction (lot 24725). That piece, once part of the Terner Collection, was graded MS67 by PCGS and sold for a hammer price of $3,000. The market for this type of material has certainly picked up significantly in the past two and a half years, and we expect this piece to come close to that realization, if not surpass it. A technical gem with significant luster and light toning along the edges.
Estimate: 2500-3000 USD
