Central American Republic 8 Reales 1830 NG-M AU58 NGC, Nueva Guatemala mint, KM4. The reverse of 1830 variety. Slight rubbing on the top of the volcanoes as expected from the designation and very attractively toned. Struck from rusty obverse dies as is often the case. Some weakness and adjustment marks on the reverse are noted for accuracy. The second rarest date in the series, very challenging in this attractive quality with only one graded higher by NGC, and sure to elicit sustained attention from the specialist.From The Law Collection
