Matthias Corvinus (1458-90) Goldgulden 1482-88 MS62 NGC, Kremnitz mint, Fr-22, Rethy-210, Huszar-686, Pohl K8-5. A very rare treasurer's mark to the right of St. Ladislaus, that of Urbanus Dóczy, sets this example above its peers. The surfaces are fully lustrous and hardly muted by original deep-yellow tone. The only auction record of this variety we have been able to locate was sold by Nudelman Numismatica in September 2013 (Auction 13, Lot 263) for EUR 4800 hammer (Approx. $6500). This is an uncommon opportunity for the specialist in this series.
Estimate: 4000-5000 USD
