CORINTHIA. Corinth. Ca. 400-375 BC. AR stater (23mm, 8.58 gm, 1h). Pegasus standing left on ground line, foreleg raised, wing partially folded, qoppa below / Head of Athena left wearing Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, six or seven dolphins around. Possibly unpublished, but cf. Roma 2 (2 October 2011), lot 210 for a somewhat similar example. A very rare variety! NGC XF★ 5/5 - 5/5.
