Phase III (c.1035-60) Penny ND MS65 PCGS, Uncertain mint, 15.1 grs., S-6132, DF-24. + ИNDIITIIDIIOI, draped bust left / + III | DII | + IИ | IΘI, long voided cross with triple crescent ends, a hand symbol in the first and fourth quarters. Weighing in at the heavy end of the scale for Phase III, the apparent smallness of this flan is belied by thickness allowing for a fuller strike. Touches of the legends veer ever-so-slightly off-flan, but the surfaces are toned in gorgeous iridescence with bright mint luster peeking from recessed areas.
