Republic gold 8 Escudos 1857 C-CE MS61 PCGS, Culiacan mint, Km383.2, Onza-1832 (var.). Mint State and quite attractive for the designation, with partially lustrous surfaces and fewer contact marks than the ones expected at this level. A tad softly struck as often seen for this mint's production but still a good representative for the type. The rarer "no periods after C" variety of the date, unpriced in KM and unlisted in the Onza book.
