GVILLELM : DVX x | x COM x | x HOLAND : Ƶ : ZEL, Duke seated facing on Gothic throne, a sword in his right hand and a shield with quartered arms of Bavaria-Holland supported by his left; all within a tressure of arches with trefoils in the spandrels / + XPC : VINCIT : XPC : RЄGИΛT : XPC : IИPЄRΛT, cross fleurée in quadrilobe with leaves on cusps and trefoils in spandrels. An appealing specimen of this issue with strong central motifs despite a hint of weakness in the legends. No ghosting is noted although the reverse die was beginning to show signs of deterioration. All in all, an beautiful and rare piece, lustrous with original tone.
