A massive example struck on an extremely thick planchet, featuring an armored rider atop a horse and crowned, supported arms. Both the obverse and reverse present lightly toned surfaces with considerable, underlying brightness and stunning auburn highlights that encircle the legends. Seldom encountered and well-deserving of a strong bid.
