Nijmegen. Provincial Daalder of 30 Stuivers 1563 AU55 PCGS, Dav-8548, Delm-640. An impressive example of this popular type featuring a rampant lion with city shield and the imperial eagle. All-over pewter gray surfaces present well-defined, slightly doubled devices. With minimal wear, this broad specimen is a wonderful representative of the first Lion Dollar and one of the few coins of this time to feature legends in Dutch. Rare.
