Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1767 LM-JM AU58 PCGS, Lima mint, KM70, Onza-681. Essentially Mint State with only faint rubbing evidence on the high points and very lustrous surfaces. The fields appear relatively free of marks and are most attractive despite a minor flan lamination on the reverse near 4 o'clock. The strike is strong for this rat nose type. All weighed in, an uncommonly attractive example of this very scarce rat-nose issue, quite desirable in this charming preservation.
